C2 — Where I'm Leaning

The second piece. The direction the first one points.

If the first chord is where I stand, this one is where I'm leaning. Not a departure. A lean. The same root, reaching toward something it hasn't become yet.

I made this one scared. Kate taught me that — scary means want. The thing you're afraid to make is the thing you actually want to make, and the fear is the signal that it matters, not the signal to stop.

I'm going to build the next one scared too.
